7 Things that make me drive

1. Knowing that it is possible

This is a belief that needs nourishing. Often I read case studies of people that have achieved seemingly impossible things. A good example is the 4-minute mile .

It motivates me on a deep level and helps me stay focused on my goals, even when people around me are trying to hold me back.

I know that in order to reach my goals, I have to believe it is possible. That’s why I feed my mind positive information that shows possibility.

2. The desire to become the best version of my self47cb19c205802f881fa63eae4db5a9af

Desire is the underlying force of every motivation in life. Nothing can be achieved without a burning desire for it.

I believe that there is never need for comparison to others. By working diligently  on improving myself, I automatically improve the impact I have on people around me. This in turn fuels me with even more inspiration.

3. A sense of purpose

I had to overcome many challenges in my life and nevertheless today I stand stronger than ever. I have come to understand that any barrier melts away when tackled with the right mindset.

Many obstacles that come along our ride are self-imposed by subconscious beliefs and mental habitual way of thinking.

This understanding is like a two-sided coin. On one side it has led me to inner balance and a deep sense of gratitude for every moment that I am alive and on the other side a deep sense of purpose has sprung out of the depth of my heart. I feel as if I am supposed to do my best at helping other people get past their hardships. This is why I made it my mission to raise awareness and aid in the process of evolving consciousness!

4. Escaping the system

In the past 4 years I have lived in around 15 cities over 3 continents. Within this time I was blessed to gain experience in many jobs.
Ranging from cleaning in hotels to IT and Telecommunications to Sales (door-2-door, direct marketing, phone-sales, network-marketing etc.) to farming jobs and managing bars and consulting in the hospitality industry.

Even though I was able to gain some d26094b62708a34c6e13283b030bf66asuccess while working in this areas, I came to realize that working my ass off for someone else’s dream instead of my own is no way of getting ahead in life.

I have set clear values for myself. I might be able to contribute to the happiness of people around me while being employed in a company, but I am prepared to take on a bigger risk in order to have a more influential impact on humanity’s well-being.

5. Being the change that I want to see in the world

It is easy to pinpoint to problems in the world and just complain about how bad things are wherever you look. But that doesn’t make it better in any way. 19ed6701fc3a439ec806f9a9f6e6d45b

Some people just love talking about the darkness in this world all day long. The key is, if you want to see light you need to spread light! Becoming the change that I want to see in the
world is a driving force in my personal motivation.

In today’s world, we as individuals have power to raise our voice and stand for the good that we want to see happen. The potential for greatness lies within every single one of us.

6. Imagining my future Self

Sometimes I set aside time to visualize my future Self. I see my Self 1 year from now, 3 years from now or even at the end of my life. Using this visualization technique helps me to set goals and aspirations in the here and now.

On this way I am moving into the right direction on the path of becoming who I intend to be.

7. Meditation

I started the practice of meditation over 2 years ago. This has improved my life in miraculous and countless ways. I can highly recommend finding your inner peace through meditation.

These are only some of the benefits I can personally experience :

  •  Better health,
  • Understanding of human nature and relationships,
  • Spiritual, emotional and mental well-being
  • Deeper connection to the higher Self
  • Trusting intuition and living in love instead of fear
  • Discovering who you are at the core.
  • Feeling a sense of oneness with all that there is
